With the aim of improving the qualifications of persons responsible for record keeping and archival work in the Executive authorities, institutions, organizations and enterprises of the region, 26 of June in Ternopil regional state administration held a seminar. 104 people took part in the training that took place in the framework of an annual thematic short-term seminar on "Organization of records management and archives institution". The event was organized and held by the state archive of the region, together with the Ternopil regional centre of retraining and improvement of professional skill of workers of bodies of state power, bodies of local self-government, state enterprises, institutions and organizations. Employees of Department of formation of the National archival Fund and records management held four sessions with a methodical demonstration of slides on topics: "Organization of record keeping and archival institutions"; "the Preparation and execution of inventories of the structural unit. The procedure for preparation of the annual sections of the combined inventories of the institution"; "the drafting of the act on withdrawal for destruction of documents not included in the national archives, the shelf life has expired"; "Requirements for the registration of cases that are subject to archival storage." On the possibility of streamlining the documents of the institutions on a contractual basis consulted the head of Department of scientific-technical processing of documents.
