Residents and guests of Ternopil region are urged to comply with fire safety regulations during their stay in the forest
In the hot summer time in the forests dramatically increases the risk of forest fires. Therefore, in the Management of SES in the Ternopil region and urged citizens to adhere to the rules of fire safety in forests. It will warn of tragic consequences, will save nature and human life. The main cause of forest fires is the burning of dry grass on farmlands, wastelands, along roads bordering forests. Strong spring winds enabled the fire to spread to adjacent forest stands, which poses a real threat of their destruction. The growth of visits of forest plantations the population, especially in weekends and holidays, also results in a significant increase in the risk of fire. We remind you that citizens of Ukraine, foreign citizens and persons without citizenship located on the territory of Ukraine shall: – follow the rules of fire safety in the forest to educate children caution in dealing with fire; – report of forest enterprise territorial division of gschs, the local authorities on the occurrence of a forest fire. During the fire season is prohibited: – a campfire in the woods and plantations, except those related to the technological requirements of the forest management activities in specially designated places; – arrival on the territory of forest Fund (except transit) vehicles and other mechanisms, except those used for forestry purposes; to smoke, throw in the woods and plantations of the outstanding matches, cigarette butts; – leave in the forest impregnated with gasoline, kerosene, oil or other flammable material cloth; – fill in forest plantations fuel tanks during engine operation; – burn grass and other plant debris on the forest lands, agricultural lands, and other land, immediately adjacent to the forest. Upon detection of a fire in the woods, an urgent need to call the number 101. Please note that violation of these rules entails administrative and criminal liability.
