Volyn prosecutors have restored the right of the 1,000 children
Thanks to the prosecutors together with law enforcement bodies of area measures within 6 months of 2017 in Volyn 44 % decrease level of juvenile crime (from 86 to 48 offences), and almost 27 % decrease in the number of perpetrators of criminal offences (from 56 to 42). Investigators completed the investigation of 58 criminal proceedings against minors, of which 53 are directed to court with the indictment (including 4 agreements on reconciliation), 3 - petitions for exemption from criminal responsibility, 2 closed. In Volyn is not unjustified closure or suspension of criminal proceedings against minors, the illegal detention of the latter. Courts with the participation of prosecutors reviewed 32 criminal proceedings against a minor with sentencing. At implementation of supervision of observance of the rights of juveniles in the enforcement against them of court decisions in criminal trials, there were no facts of gross violation of the rights of juveniles in places of detention and pre-UV’imprisonment, escapes of minors from such institutions, the announcement of the hunger strike. For the 6 months 2017 the authorities of the regional Prosecutor's office to eliminate violations in this area made 10 instructions were prosecuted 13 officials, with the intervention of the Prosecutor from the disciplinary isolator do "Kovel's'ka educational colony" dismissed 2 minors illegally detained there. In the first half of 2017 to protect the state's interests in the field of child protection prosecutors pred’revealed 9 claims totaling 1.6 million UAH. granted 5 claims in the amount of 0.6 million UAH.
