In the Zhytomyr region during the month of the visa-free regime with the European Union biometric passport received 10 thousand 554 residents. About it informs Management of the State migration service in Zhytomyr region. — "For the period from 11 June to 11 July 2017, the population of the region has issued 10 thousand 554 biometric passports. Almost 29% of all issued passports this year. Since the beginning of year by employees of the service have already been issued 36 thousand 643 biometric passports, while last year this figure was 23 thousand", – stated in the message. Acceptance of documents for registration of passport of citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad is carried out both in the Management of LCA in Zhitomir, and in all district departments UDMS. For obtaining a biometric passport must apply to the Department of the SCS of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region with the Ukrainian passport and photocopy of all pages; the registration number of the registration card of tax payer and its copy; the previous passport of the citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad (if available). I should add that for the first month of a visa-free regime countries-the EU member States crossed by more than 95 thousand Ukrainians and only 50 citizens refused entry.
