on behalf of the community Ternopil sincerely congratulate all the participants of the National pilgrimage to the Mariinsky spiritual center in Zarvanytsya. These days, the Ternopil region once again became the center of spiritual life in Ukraine. Ternopil region is happy to welcome the dear guests, the Head of the UGCC his Beatitude Sviatoslav, the prefect of the Congregation for Eastern Churches Cardinal Leonardo Sandri and thousands of the faithful participating in the pilgrimage. This year we will be praying for peace and integrity of Ukraine and will celebrate two whom events in the history of the whole of Ukraine, the 150th anniversary of the coronation Zarvanitskoy of the miraculous Icon of the blessed virgin Mary and the 125th anniversary of the birth of Patriarch Josyf (Slipyj). These days let us remember the lessons of the Patriarch Joseph. In his letters he taught us that the Ukrainians have always been the same spiritually, despite the political and administrative boundaries. It is this unity helped us to win independence. The Patriarch also focused on the need to protect the Christian family, which is the basis of a healthy society, people and nation. I have the amp’bookmark on these messages now, when we try to divide, to destroy our good spiritual tradition. We must be United as never before: politically and spiritually. Therefore, though mention of these outstanding events and joint prayer will help Ukraine and every one of us to become stronger. To maintain and develop our spirituality as a traditional basis for the development of the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian state!
