Chernivtsi: the cases of fraudulent foreign passports
Continues abnormally increased demand for the issue of passports associated with the holiday season and the introduction of a visa-free regime with EU for Ukraine. With the beginning of the year and more than 1 million 800 thousand passports are issued every day over 20 thousand documents. A large number of applicants to issue the passport and turn in the units created the conditions for middlemen and scammers who offer "assistance" in obtaining a biometric passport without Queuing for 1,3 or 5 days. The most that can do such "intermediaries" – to help in the preparation of documents "queue". Sometimes it is not without unscrupulous employees of the migration service, which increasingly reveal law enforcement. Often, however, such proposals fraud, since no travel Agency or any other person cannot guarantee either of getting a person to the subdivisions of migration service of the queue or the production of a passport in a short time. Migration service of Ukraine reminds that according to the current legislation, the passport of the citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad can be issued only in person and only one of three agencies: the division of the migration service center providing administrative services or in the service center "Passport service" state enterprise "Document". Under any circumstances it is not necessary to use the services of any intermediaries, including for registration of documents out of turn. In addition, the migration service advises citizens to refrain from planning foreign travel (booking hotels, buying tickets etc) without having a valid passport for traveling abroad, because due to significantly increased demand for documents may be delays in issuing them.
