In the Zhytomyr region, NGO representatives were trained on how to properly file a design application for a grant from RSA.
All the details of the project proposal for a grant from the Zhytomyr regional state administration told during the workshop "Grant competition for NGOs from Zhytomyr oblast state administration: what to look for when preparing the project proposal?". UAH 1 million for grants for NGOs was allocated from the regional budget on the initiative of the Chairman of regional state administration Igor Gundicha. The event for representatives of public and charity organizations of Zhytomyr region took place on 21 July in the Centre of the development of local government. Member of the coordination Council on development of civil society in the region Zhanna Solovyova congratulated approximately 60 participants. The expert of the Center of development of local government spoke about those moments and details that you should pay special attention in the preparation of the project for a grant – search for businesses and organizations to implement the project, contracts, time limits for stages of the project, rational use of funds, and the like. The head of Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA Olga Grigorieva focused on the main conditions of realization of projects and requirements to documents of the institutions of civil society. She also noted that the subject of grants is not limited to the list specified on the website, and the project should be completed before the end of 2017. The organizers of the seminar: Zhytomyr OP CRMS in cooperation with the Coordination Council on development of civil society in Zhytomyr region, the management of information activities and public relations of Zhytomyr regional state administration. Recall that the start of the contest for grants for NGOs was the first result of the work of the coordinating Council, and from July 1 began accepting documents for grants from the Zhytomyr regional state administration.
