Yuri yurika: Our common goal is to bring quality educational services to children rural areas
the regional state administration held a meeting with the individual heads of education authorities and Directors of supporting educational institutions with the participation of Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yuri Eureka, head of the Department of education and science of the regional state administration Olga Homa. During the meeting were discussed the issues fully meet all the needs of supporting educational institutions and, primarily finances. The head of the Department of education and science of the regional state administration Olga Homa drew the attention of heads of territorial bodies of Executive power and local self-government, the education authorities on the need for priority allocation of funds in the innovative modernization of material-technical base support of educational institutions, purchase of modern classrooms of science and math, educational computer systems, multimedia learning tools that will ultimately contribute to improving the quality of educational services to children in rural areas. Summing up the meeting, Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yurii Yurik said: "now supporting schools are at the epicenter of attention of the public and society as a whole. Creating, funding, supporting schools is illustrative of the point that reforms in our country continues. Our common goal is to bring the provision of quality education services to rural children. Effective decisions depend on what will be the country in 10-20 years. Our children, pupils of schools of the region had the same learning opportunities as their peers from Europe". Reference: the region has 16 control schools (9 and 7 to the consolidated territorial communities) and their 42 branches, with an enrollment of 7 244 students. In 2017 the open 4 supporting schools and their 11 branches, educating 2 116 students. In addition, the local councils adopted the relevant decisions on the establishment of 6 schools in the United territorial communities before the end of 2017. On the supporting institutions of Ternopil region in 2016 according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from December 16, 2015 ¹ 1340-R dedicated 15036,6 thousand UAH. In addition, according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of November 16, 2016 No. 827-R to support educational establishments of territorial communities (the purchase of school buses, equipping secondary schools with learning tools, including classrooms for physics, chemistry, biology, geography, mathematics, educational computer systems, multimedia, training and implementation of energy-saving technologies) are highlighted 50922,3 thousand UAH.
