As told Deputy head of administration of property taxes and fees from individuals of Chernivtsi LIGHTS Irina Pavlyuk, the amount of property tax for the year 2016, which must be paid into the budget of citizens, the fiscal authorities announced until July 1 of this year. This year, the notice for payment of tax on immovable property received 9100 Chernivtsi for a total sum of 2,1 million UAH. To pay budget must be made within 60 days from the date of delivery of the document. In 2017 the deadline for payment – 29 Aug. If the total area exceeds 300 sq. m tax amount is increased by 25 thousand. The owners of a residential house/houses, including their shares, ranging from 120 to 250 sq. m. pay 0.1% per 1 sq. m. area in excess of 120 sq. m. For residential house/houses, including their share, with an area of over 250 square meters for the area from 120 to 250 sq. m. – 0.1% for 1 sq. m; the area of 250 sq m and above – the tax rate is 1% for 1 sq. m. If the total area of residential building exceeds 500 sq. m tax amount is increased by 25 thousand. If the ownership of an individual are different types of residential properties, including their shares (in the case of simultaneous stay in the property of the taxpayer of the apartment/apartments and residential house/houses, including their shares), the area from 180 to 370 sq. m shall be paid 0.1% for 1 sq. m, the area of 370 sq m and above are charged 1% per 1 sq. m.
