In the Zhytomyr region, participants of military operations and persons with disabilities due to war can get free vocational or higher education

From January 1, 2019 combatants, and persons with disabilities due to the war and their children will be provided with state support targeted to receive vocational and higher education. About it reports Department of labor and social protection of population of regional state administration. State aid will be provided to persons who participated in the antiterrorist operation, including the composition of the volunteer units, which were further included in the composition of the Armed forces of Ukraine and other legitimate military formations and law enforcement bodies, and also participants of operations in territory of other countries. The state target support for vocational and higher education provided, in particular, in the form: * social grants; * full or partial tuition at the expense of state and local budgets; * concessional long-term loans for education; * free provision of textbooks; * free access to the Internet, database systems in state and municipal educational institutions; * free accommodation in the hostel and the like.
