Sergey Mashkovsky: we Must do everything to torhovelna industry earned

Sergey Mashkovsky urged those present to unite efforts for development torhovelna in Zhytomyr and said: "Torhovelna the industry is of strategic importance not only for our region but for the whole state. The peat is a fuel that can substitute for gas. The potential of Zhytomyr region to ensure alternative fuel is one of the largest in Ukraine, and peat of local origin is of a higher quality than in other regions." The Chairman yeah focused attention on the paradox with the extraction of peat: "in our region there is a paradoxical situation: we have raw materials, equipment, explored deposits the enterprises, but buy peat briquette in Lutsk or Rivne regions. This is unacceptable. We must do everything possible to make our industry work. It is necessary to define a clear algorithm of actions to restore torhovelna in the Zhytomyr region, to develop this sector and to ensure that the enterprise operated at full capacity". SE "Zhitomirtorf" together with the concern of the peat industry "Ukrtorf" of the Ministry of coal industry of Ukraine has provided the content for the Central agencies to get approval obtain special permits. The above documents are received after approval of the Ministry of environment of Ukraine are under consideration in the Gosgorpromnadzor of Ukraine. Permits may be obtained within 60 days, however, after the issue of SE "Zhitomirtorf" within 45 days to pay UAH 2.5 million. Having debts to tax inspection and Pension Fund of several million, the company does not have available funds to pay for permissions. General Director of concern "Ukrtorf", the Deputy of regional Council Andrew Serchuk reported that there are already plans to receive funds for the license. All equipment at both plants is in working condition. Once Ozeryansky factory has granted permission, will start production and sale of derivatives. Participants in the meeting unanimously emphasized that for the successful functioning of the peat areas should be developed by the regional program of development of the industry.
