Under the chairmanship of the Director of the Department of information activities and public relations of the regional state administration, Deputy Chairman of the expert Council Svetlana Vasilyuk 25 April 2016, held an organizational meeting of the expert Council for publication of works of local authors. During the meeting Svetlana Vasilyuk presented books by local authors that were published in previous years at the expense of means of the regional budget. According to her, in 2005 for the first time the regional budget has allocated 18 thousand UAH for the publication of works of local authors, which issued an anthology of works by contemporary writers of the region "Kvit Podolsky words". It has become a tradition and every year the amount of funds increased. For 10 years, issued 232 books of various genres in the amount of UAH 3.3 million. For 2016 regional budget for the publication of works of local authors provides 400 thousand UAH. "In the current year for consideration by the expert Council presents 76 works by local authors of different genres. This, in particular, prose, poetry, satire, humor, album, artwork, journalism, scientific and children's literature, as well as the book series "Library of the literature of Vinnytsia region","School library in Vinnytsia region", "Village and people" - said Svetlana Vasilyuk. At the suggestion of members of the expert Council decided that for three months each Board member will have the opportunity to see the submitted works and make a personal decision regarding their publication.
