In the Ternopil region, the heads of municipal Newspapers received legal assistance in the process of privatization
For the representatives of the editorial staff has held training on the topic : "Legal assistance in the process of privatization of municipal print media", a trainer which was made by a media lawyer, regional press development Institute Lyudmyla PANKRATOVA (Kiev). The papers considered the issues of choosing the legal form of the new company (LLC, Joint stock company, private enterprise), the functions of the meeting of the labor collective of the editorial staff, the preparation of the Charter of the enterprise, the question of the distribution of shares. Focused on problem solving property issues, the extension/conclusion of the agreement for the tenancy; the repayment of the founders. The participants received practical answers about registration procedures: stages, the validity of the documents for registration procedures. The standard errors in these processes. Also heads of the municipal revision acquainted with the practice of litigation that arise in the reform process in other parts of the country.. The training was organized by Ternopil press club under the project "Integrated support of print media in different regions of Ukraine in the process of privatization and the establishment of their independent activities" with the support of "Ukrainian media project" (U-Media), implemented by Internews in Ukraine and funded by the U.S. Agency for international development (USAID).
