Laying flowers to the monument of T. H. Shevchenko on the occasion of the 202-th anniversary of his birth took place in Chernigov. His works are now extremely relevant. During the event were sounded some songs on poems of Taras Shevchenko performed by Bandurist Ostap Veresaev. A brass band performed "Roar that stone DNP wide".
