Thanks to the intervention of the Prosecutor's office the inhabitant of Manevychi district will compensate the damage caused by the illegal nature of his actions. Manevitskiy local Prosecutor's office before’revealed the statement of claim in interests of the state in the face of Troyanska village Council to a citizen, who, having cut down without permission three pine trees, caused damage to nature in amount of more than 5.6 thousand USD. For committing illegal felling, damage and destruction of wood cultures (an administrative offense under article 65 of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offences) a man was imposed an administrative penalty of a fine. Now the Prosecutor's office also requires compensation for damages caused to the environment.
