the Department of transport and communications of the city Council reports that in pursuance of an order of Chernihiv mayor Vladislav Atroshenko about improving the quality of recreation by increasing pedestrian areas on the territory of the concentration of historical and cultural monuments from the 19th of may there will be changes in the scheme of the organization of traffic on prospect Mira from the Shaft to the red square. The decision adopted by the Executive Committee of the Chernihiv city Council of 5 may 2016 No. 179, namely: it will install additional traffic signs prohibiting the movement of motor vehicles on the stretch of the Avenue of the World. Traffic will be closed in weekdays from 18.00. to 23.00 h., and on weekends and public holidays from 09.00 hours. to 23.00 h. Vehicular traffic on Mira Avenue in the direction from red square to the Shaft remains unchanged.
