In Zhitomir celebrated the winners of the annual regional competition for the day of the journalist.
For the eighth year in Zhytomyr the journalists Day is celebrated the best journalists in the region and the media. 6 June in Zhytomyr regional state administration was held the rewarding of winners of annual regional creative competition for the day of the journalist. This year at the annual regional creative competition for the day of the journalist were submitted 50 works by 32 participants. Their contributions have provided a total of 26 journalists and 6 media. Congratulated journalists on their professional holiday and victories Vice-Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta and Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Natalia Rybak. Yaroslav Laguta said: "I can confidently say that the annual regional creative competition for the day of the journalist has fulfilled its task – experienced members of the jury of the competition determined the best articles and programs of journalists of Zhytomyr. I sincerely congratulate the winners and hope that next year you new roscripts in relevant topics, original ideas, and we, the members of the organizing Committee and the jury, acquainted with the works of young and talented participants of the contest". — The winners this year were: "Journalist of the year – the winner of the award named Vasily Countryman": Les Gudz, head of the Department of letters and mass work Novograd-Volyn newspaper "Lessin region"; "Journalist of the year – winner of the award named after Vasyl Ostapchuk": Tamila Butko, Deputy Director of the TPO, the radio branch of the NTU "Luhansk regional Directorate"; "Best young journalist": * Elena Cseh, editor of the New.-Volyn newspaper "Lessin region"; * Victoria Hlan, the journalist of TV channel W1; * Tatiana Syropyatov, the journalist of TV channel "Soyuz-TV"; * Dmitry Polishchuk, the regional representative of the information Agency "Ukrainian national news". "Best radio program": Petrina Hope, correspondent of the "Central Directorate "Ukrainian radio" in the Zhytomyr region. Winner –Ivan Sauk, senior editor of the regional radio branch of the NTU "Luhansk regional Directorate". "Best journalistic material" – the coverage of relevant themes in society: Olena Slobodenyuk, the journalist of radio "Zhytomyr wave"). Winner – Tamil Butko, Deputy Director of the TPO, the radio branch of the NTU "Luhansk regional Directorate". "Best journalistic material" – military-Patriotic theme: Vita Demos, the journalist "First Zhytomyr information portal". Winner – Angela Alexandrova, Olevsky editor of the newspaper "dawn over Ubort". "Best journalistic material" – for the constructive criticism of the government. The members of the jury decided not to award the award in this category, however, agreed on the opinion that to celebrate the participants for their courage is worth it: Valentine Romanchuk, Milcinski journalist of the regional newspaper "Narodnaya Tribuna", and Mary Rudick, Baranovskaya journalist of the newspaper "Slovo Polissya".
