the government approved the Procedure and conditions for granting state targeted support for 5 categories of citizens to receive vocational and higher education, will be provided to them during training. The decision was approved on November 23. “This is a very important draft resolution, which we have coordinated, but he finally settles the conditions for granting the government's targeted support for these vulnerable categories of citizens. In particular, this is due to the free tuition, the provision of free sets of textbooks and the like”, - said the Minister of education and science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych. Support will be provided: 1) persons who are recognized participants in hostilities pursuant to paragraph 19 of part one of article 6 of the Law of Ukraine "On status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection"; 2) children of persons recognized as participants of military actions pursuant to paragraph 19 of part one of article 6 of the Law of Ukraine "On status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection"; 3) children who are related to the persons specified in paragraphs the fourth, the eighth and the fourteenth of paragraph 1 of article 10 of the law of Ukraine "On status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection"; 4) children one of whose parents have died (missing or dead) as a result of disease obtained during the period of participation in anti-terrorist operations; 5) children who are registered as internally displaced persons. The regulation provides different for each category of provision of state targeted support. In General, it will be provided in the form of full or partial tuition at the expense of the General Fund of the state or local budgets, concessional long-term loans, social scholarships, free books, free accommodation in student hostels and free of charge access to the Internet, database systems in state and municipal educational institutions.
