Cup of Ukraine in weightlifting 2017 was launched in Chernihiv
training At the Olympic training and sports center "Chernihiv" (former Gagarin stadium) inaugurated the Cup of Ukraine in weightlifting 2017. These competitions are held in Chernihiv for the 5th year in a row. Within three days, more than 200 strongest sportsmen of the country will fight for the victory and a place in the championship. These competitions are qualifiers and athletes who will take prize-winning places, in April, will represent Ukraine in Croatia. Among the participants there are famous heavyweights — Champions of Ukraine, winners of European and world Championships. In the ceremony of opening of tournament took part the first Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Leonid sakhnevich, Chernihiv mayor Vladislav Atroshenko, the representatives of the Ministry of youth and sports of Ukraine, weightlifting Federation of Ukraine, honored guests, Olympic Champions and medalists in weightlifting, athletes, coaches and fans.
