Video contest on energy conservation from the EU delegation in Ukraine The EU mission announces the acceptance of works for competition in the annual project "the EU: the choice of the young generation". The best videos will be awarded with special prizes and diplomas from the EU delegation in Ukraine, and each participant will receive a souvenir. This year, the Mission proposes to focus on energy efficiency and its importance in everyday life of the Ukrainians and for the welfare of the whole country. Works are accepted in two categories: professionals (those that have education and professional experience in the field of video production) and fans. Video requirements: • Last less than 3 minutes; • Be original and not use someone else's intellectual property; • Match the theme of energy saving and/or European integration of Ukraine Reception of works will last till may 23. From may 23 to June 5, 2017, the winners will be selected by jury members, including the adviser press and information of the EU delegation, Victoria Davydova, General Director of "Arthouse Traffic" Denis Ivanov, the former Executive producer of "New channel" Oksana Panasivska and founder of PIN-production, Yuri Panin. III Scholarship program for University Kyiv initiative group of Alpbah announces III Scholarship program for internally displaced persons. deadline - March 31, 2017 This annual scholarship program, which is carried out with the aim of providing unique opportunities for youth to participate in the oldest European forum the European Forum Alpbach, which takes place from 16 August to 1 September 2017 in the picturesque village of Alpbach, Austria. The European Forum Alpbach consists of a workshop week and a series of workshops, the participants of which are teachers of some of the finest European, British and American universities, Nobel laureates, representatives of the highest EU institutions, politicians, journalists and business representatives. Seminars and symposia are held on topics related to international law, politics, Economics, Finance, and innovation in technical and exact Sciences, IT, medicine, healthcare, energy, environment, and the like. The scholarship covers the participation and program of the Forum, training materials, manuals for workshop week and the programme of workshops, accommodation with Breakfast, DSA, dinners during receptions, transportation costs from Ukraine to Austria, Schengen visas without payment of consular fee at the Embassy of Austria. Participants in the Scholarship program must meet the following criteria: * citizens of Ukraine; * students 1-6 courses, alumni, researchers, graduate students, young professionals, representatives of public organizations, who are internally displaced persons from Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, or still reside in these areas; * persons at the age from 18 to 30 years inclusive; * persons who speak English, the level of which must be at least B1 (intermediate level). Knowledge of German or another language of a member country of the European Union can be considered an advantage but is not mandatory. Participation in the Competition is open to only individuals who had never participated in the program FA. The list of documents required for participation in the competition: 1) cover letter an established pattern written in English (Appendix 1) (up to 2 pages of A4, 12 font, Times New Roman, extension .doc); 2) resume (CV) according to the established pattern, written in English and with photo attached (Annex 2) (up to 2 pages of A4, 12 font, Times New Roman, extension .doc); 3) scanned certificate from the place of study, in the case of graduation, – a scanned diploma, a certificate of employment; 4) in the case of – scanned certificate of registration of internally displaced persons in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On ensuring rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons" and the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On accounting of the internally displaced persons"; 5) a video in which the participant gives the answer to two questions: "Why I am the best candidate for a scholarship" and "How Russian soft power can help meet international challenges". All-Ukrainian competition "the Incredible villages of Ukraine 2017" Starts the II all-Ukrainian competition "the Incredible villages of Ukraine 2017", which is initiated by an online resource AgroPortal.ua and the Association "Ukrainian club of agrarian business" (ASTP). The project aims to contribute to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas, as well as to remind about the historical and cultural heritage of the Ukrainian village. Deadline - may 15, 2017. The aim of the project: to promote small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas, rural areas and communities, to promote life in the village and recall the historical and cultural heritage of the Ukrainian village. Period: April-September 2017. International video contest for schoolchildren on energy saving International SPARE project announces a contest of video clips on energy saving. To participate in the contest invited students up to the age of 17 years. Deadline - 1 April 2017 SPARE, school project for the rational use of resources and energy, invites young people aged up to 17 years to participate in the competition videos #Domorewithless2017! The main objective of the project SPARE – reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate dangerous climate change. Faster and cheaper all this can be achieved by making more efficient use of energy.
