Sergey Savchuk: III Forum energy efficient partnership showed consistent Government policy in the field of energy efficiency

One of the key components of energy efficiency is energy management. The implementation of energy management allows up to 20% to reduce power consumption. "our goal is to establish together with the local authority systematic work on the issue of energy management in the budgetary sphere", - commented the Head and reminded that yesterday, on April 26 the Government approved the Plan of measures on introduction of energy management systems in budget institutions. The importance of activation of regions in this matter noted and other distinguished members of the forum. The achievements of Ukrainian cities in this area told Diana Korsakaite, head of the Project USAID "Municipal energy reform in Ukraine". Thorsten Willert, head of the subgroup "Energy and ecology" Group of the European Commission for the support of Ukraine noted that energy efficiency, for Ukraine has become a national priority. At the same time, a lot depends on the efforts of local authorities. For its part, the EU is ready to support Ukraine's initiative in this area. Assistance to Ukraine in implementing reforms provides and Germany. This assured the Ambassador of Germany in Ukraine, Ernst Reichel. Support is provided through various projects, among which the following are important: "energy efficiency in the community" and "Partnership for modernization: energy efficiency in hospitals". In turn, Elena Voloshina, head of IFC activity in Ukraine, noted the positive role of the state in encouraging people towards energy efficiency. In particular, the adopted Law of Ukraine No. 417 allowed to create condominiums that are now able to raise funds for the insulation of houses. The state provides co-financing rate from 40% to 70%. This is a significant incentive for a condominium to join the energy saving. "The state indeed performs its function – the creation of favorable conditions and incentives, and the initiative belongs to us", - said O.
