Chernivtsi: From may 1, increased the size of a living wage

the Law on the state Budget for 2017 laid a gradual increase during the year the subsistence level. From may 1, increased the size of the subsistence minimum. Since that date the living wage is: 1624 UAH — the overall rate for one person per month; 1426 UAH for children under six years of age; 1777 UAH — for children aged 6 to 18 years; 1684 UAH for able-bodied persons; 1312 UAH — for persons who lost working capacity. This minimum wage will be valid until 30.11.2017. However, the minimum wage (3200 UAH) for 2017 will not change. Therefore, all the indicators are calculated on the basis of its size, will remain constant. But the rest of "pojitkov-sensitive indicators in respect of increase in cost of living need to be revised. The increase in cost of living does not predetermine the increase of salaries of employees. Because the minimum official salary (tariff rate) is set at a level no lower than the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons as of January 1 of the calendar year (article 6 of the Law of Ukraine "On remuneration of labour" from 24.03.1995, No. 108/95-BP). That is, the minimum salary in the staffing remains at the level of 1600 UAH. If the collective agreement provides that the minimum salary (wage rate) changes with the increase in cost of living – you need to make changes in staffing, to issue orders about increase in salaries of specific employees. This was reported in the Chernivtsi city Council
